Introduction to Robotics at Glendale Aug 15 - 19, 10AM - 1PM

$299.00
A four-hour extension on our camps. We add additional activities, some technical and some not -- since even young engineers need a break. On top of the added experiments, we’ll also do scavenger hunts, group games, and other activities outside.
Need to get to work early? We got your back. Drop-off your camper at 8:30 AM and we’ll get started on some warm-up activities before camp starts. That way you can get to work, and your camper can get to having fun.

In a series of hands on laboratory classes you will experience key elements of robotics: Robot Motion, Radio Control, Tools / Mechanism Design and Sensors. Each day starts with a new robotic design challenge. Students learn and work together in small groups to build and optimize a robot to complete the day’s challenge. About half of the time each day is spent building and working on the robot while the second half is using the robot in fun and challenging activities. On the last day use your robot building skills to build a robot that you take home.
