Tech Starter

Electricity is magical, especially in the hands of a curious young explorer. Under the guidance of our expert staff, your kids will be introduced to the world of electronics with fun, interactive experiments and activities. They'll create circuits with LEDs, make their own electromagnet, and even build their own motors! These workshops are specially designed to introduce S.T.E.M. concepts years before your kids see them in school.

Robots Rock

In a series of hands-on activities, your kids will experience all the key elements of robotics. Using special "Vex" kits - the same robots used in high school competitions - they'll learn to use tools, wheels, gears, and motors to design and build a radio controlled robot.
Each session starts with a new robotic design challenge. Students will then work together in small groups to build and optimize a robot to complete the day's challenge. These workshops are specially designed to introduce technology concepts to kids with and without previous experience with robotics.

Advanced Programming and Robotics

In this workshop, students will build and program a robot that uses a microcontroller and electronic sensors to independently navigate in its environment. Under the guidance of our expert staff, your kids will learn the fundamentals of programming, and leave our workshops with the ability to build competition-level robots on their own. This is an advanced course, but requires NO prior experience with robots; just familiarity with computers, a strong interest in technology, and a willingness to learn.
