Tin Can Robot
This unique product takes all the fun of hands-on engineering and colors it "green," teaching kids that resourcefulness and sustainability can be valuable, as well as fun! Take any aluminum can and turn it into a walking, wobbling, googly-eyed robot pal. You could even transform it into a robotic monster too. The choice is yours!
Most everything is included to get you started on making your very own robot: battery casing, motor, arms, feet, even two googly eyes! After your robot is completed it will be able to walk upright or on its belly -- all on its own! All you need is a AA battery, a screwdriver and a recycled can.
The kit is designed for ages 8 and up, but our trained robot technicians will help prepare some of the more difficult parts prior to your party. With this preparation, children as young as 7 have been able to assemble it with ease. In the end, they have the great satisfaction of having a toy that they have built themselves -- and helped the Earth while they did it. (But they'll be having too much fun to notice it.)
