Attention Rolling Robots Builders
You are officially invited to take part in the AXL Robot Building Video Challenge
Global Road Entertainment, Rolling Robots Inc. and Satiated Productions.
You must be five to eighteen years of age to enter the Contest and a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia at the time of entry. Your parents or legal guardians must enter the contest on your behalf.
- Contest Rules:
Contestants must post a public youtube link of their video entry to the Rolling Robots Facebook Page with the hashtags #AXLmovie and #RollingRobotsContest by Aug. 20th, 2018, 12:00pm PST. If chosen as a finalist, the contestant must also be available on August 22nd, 2018 for the finals event at Rolling Robots West LA where the winners will be chosen. The event will potentially be hosted by a media personality and contestants at the finals event must be comfortable having photos/video of them taken.
Free, AXL sponsored robot-building workshops will be held at the following times at Rolling Robots' locations. These workshops are available to provide participants technical assistance and resources to help them complete their contest submission. The video for entering the contest must be taken before the completion of the workshop, and afterwards the completed robots and all leftover materials will remain at Rolling Robots.

Finalists will receive invitations to the finals event by August 20th, 2018. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018 at Rolling Robots West LA.
- Contest Video Guidelines:
The video portion of the Submission must not exceed 30 seconds in length. The Submission must contain a short title starting with "AXL/Rolling Robots Contest - [Name of your Robot] and the title must be in English. The video must include the robot creator holding the robot and the video must also contain at least 5 seconds of continuous footage of the robot movement.
The Submission must not contain content that (1) is inappropriate, offensive, indecent, obscene, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous content; (2) is sexually explicit or suggestive, obscene or offensive, profane or pornographic, or contains nudity; (3) promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); (4) is violent, or promotes any activities that may appear illegal, unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message; (5) communicates messages or images inconsistent with Sponsor's reputation, image and/or goodwill; or (6) is otherwise inappropriate, objectionable, or unsuitable as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age or is otherwise derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group.
The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the Submission is created.
